James Quarterly Report- 2 years, 6 months

James is 2 1/2 years old. He has been SO fun to watch lately.

Since his Early Intervention started in August, his speech has taken OFF. He is doing amazingly! Just the fact that he is trying to verbalize his thoughts is amazing. Even though it comes for better or worse... just take Thanksgiving for example.

THIS is how mad he was during our Turkey Trot. (Turns out he was also coming down with something). Afterward, if anyone tried to comfort him he would say something like "Don't touch me Luis" or "Leave mine alone Meg". Whoops.

He gets to go to activities that the Child Development Center puts on, and it has been a lot of fun to have things to do one on one with him. Although, as you can see, the leash is needed.

We took the kids to Santa Cruz over Veteran's Day weekend. James is so cute, I love the joy on his face.
He scared me to death in November when he ran away right when people got out of stake conference. Hundreds of people filing out of the building, and a knee high tall person nowhere to be found. Brandon and I separated looking for Cora, and right as I ran up to the stake president to make an announcement for "a 2 year old named James is missing... 2 year old with red hair" my friend found him on the stage. He even tried to run away as I was coming to the stage. SO. NAUGHTY.

 James finally sat with Santa! Or, near him. It took 2 years to get him to sit with him again.

 These boys will be BFFs. Once they learn to get along.

 James loves his dad.

 They also made ornaments together!
