Angel boy. Angel boy. ANGEL BOY. That's what I call him all day long. He's the sweetest.
This month he really seems to have turned into a tiny toddler instead of a baby. I'm so sad about it. He is SO close to sleeping through the night, usually sleeps 8-9 hours in a stretch before waking up. He is army crawling so fast and can hop over any hurdle. But he's learning that he can keep his belly from being cold if he crawls on his hands and knees. So he's starting to!
Seriously, look at this angel happy face.
We are full fledged in the "putting everything in the mouth" stage. I am chasing him around and swatting things out of his mouth CONSTANTLY. Here he is with his first Easter basket.
James is the softest, squishiest little love bug. I am obsessed with kissing his cheeks!
HE LOVES CORA. As soon as he gets up from his nap he crawls right over to her room and looks for her.
Just casually holding the baba with one hand.
He snuggles with Dad a lot. This was when he wasn't feeling well, he cried unless he was right there. Poor Dad.
One of the biggest surprises of this month-James has BROWN eyes! Which shouldn't be surprising since Brandon does (brownish hazelish eyes), but I just assumed they would be blue like Cora's. I love it!
THAT COLOR HAIR.
James loves his babas! This is his face when the water is being heated up in the microwave.
He just drops and rolls over when he gets the bottle.
So glad he learned to climb up stairs. I just got over the fear of Cora falling down the stairs again!
James got a new cousin this month! We got to meet baby Charlotte at just a fresh week old, and James was in LOVE. Doesn't he look so big now?
Can his smile be any bigger?
He is always in Cora's space. Look at her face! Haha she is such a nice sister.
He is in that super fun throwing food stage. And anything within his reach can be grabbed and tossed. The other night he grabbed this bowl of butternut squash (that he would NOT on his tray) and pulled it off the table as I was getting him out of his tray. I put him down and he immediately crawled over and started eating it.
He loves bath time now! He and Cora bathe together and it's all white round bodies in there.
He loves going into Cora's room. Here he is when Cora was at preschool. Just happily playing away by himself!
He is not a gentleman right now. Whenever he sees someone he crawls over to them and climbs on them. Like poor Sabrina here. (She looks shocked)
We are preparing for the brutal summer here. James is still the fairest of them all (meaning whiter than sour cream).
He learned to do THIS this month. Excuse me? Are you big enough to stand up? (He has NO legs. He is all torso!)
We love you, James Murphy! I hope you always know that!
