How has James been in our lives for almost half a year?
I think this age is really my jam. James isn't a tiny newborn anymore, and it is so fun to watch his curiosity and understanding of the world explode.
-I love how he has been trying to learn to grab things. He focuses SO hard on it, and is almost able to control his hands the way he wants to.
-I love how he rolls. He only rolls from his back to his stomach. Then he screams to get flipped back because he hates being on his stomach. We're working on rolling back.
-I love his sounds. He makes so many cute little noises.
- I love that he sucks his thumb now. I know that will be a beast to get rid of, but it is soooo cute right now. And especially since it helps him to fall back asleep while teething, he can do it for now.
-I love his tiny teeth. He has one and the second is JUST about to come through. It's a major pain, but it's also so cute.

- I love his relationship with Cora. He loves his big sister so much. It's one of my favorite sounds to hear him gurgle at her from across the car. She can make him smile and laugh like nobody else can. I know she'll be super annoyed with him when he is mobile and can take her toys, but I want to encourage this!
- I love watching him learn. He is able to roll with purpose by now, and it's the best. Except he can only roll one way, then he gets mad that he's stuck on his stomach. But Cora will entertain him when he's on his stomach.
-James, you are the sweetest. Even though you don't let me go to class at church, and when I try to explain that you're grumpy you give everyone a huge smile and so I'm sure they think I'm lying.
