Holy cow, Cora is growing SO MUCH. The biggest part of her "quarter" was that she started preschool. Just in the first 6 weeks of her being there she has learned so much about socializing and being independent. She is already an independent girl, but she still looks to me for everything when we're out in public. Even when we're all at home, when Brandon tells her something she asks me the same thing. EVERY TIME. It doesn't go the other way. So I am glad she is learning to take directions from other people.
She has struggled a little bit with feeling like her teachers don't like her, but that went away after about 3 weeks. She didn't handle the whole "taking directions" thing well at first, but she's good now!
We are STILL in full blown princess mode here. Whenever she watches a princess movie or hears a princess song she runs into her room and puts on her princess dress. And then she wants to dance with you. Any dress is good though!
We can't have her take normal pictures anymore. She won't look, or makes a weird face, or something. But it's still cute. Her friend Tilly's dog had puppies and Cora (and James) DIED over it.
Cora has the FUNNIEST quotes. The other day she said "Mom, milk comes from cows." I was shocked that she knew that since I don't remember telling her, so I said "Yes Cora! Good job!" Then she said "And chocolate milk comes from horses!" And I was so surprised I couldn't say anything for a minute.
She is our sweet and sour child. I love her!
